COMMERCE - With just five days until hosting No. 1 ranked Washington in the Class A third round playoffs, Commerce Tigers head coach Rick Trimble is very familiar with this situation.

Tigers Reach Third Round Again

COMMERCE - Earning a spot in the third round of the Class A playoffs for the sixth consecutive year, the Commerce Tigers defeated the Hominy Bucks 26-17 Saturday night before a large crowd at Tiger Field.

For the 2nd time in the past 4 years, the Washington Warriors put an end to the Commerce Tigers' football season with a 3rd round victory.

11.18.06-COMMERCE WINS 9TH STRAIGHT
Two down, three to go as Commerce eliminated Hominy from the Class A State playoffs with a 26-17 win at Commerce Friday night.

11.10.06-COMMERCE STARTS 3RD SEASON WITH A WIN
One down, four to go as Commerce eliminated Central Sallisaw from the Class A State playoffs with a 41-6 win at Commerce Friday night.

10.27.06-COMMERCE MOVES STREAK TO 7 GAMES
Commerce moved to 6-0 in district A-8 play and moved their district winning streak to 37 games. They beat the Ketchum Warriors 39-0.

10.20.06-COMMERCE MOVES STREAK TO 6 GAMES
Commerce moved to 5-0 in district A-8 play and moved their district winning streak to 36 games. They beat the new district addition Copan Hornets 64-6.

10.13.06-COMMERCE MOVES STREAK TO 5 GAMES
Commerce moved to 4-0 in district A-8 play and moved their district winning streak to 35 games. They beat the always pesky Oklhaoma Union Cougars 56-6.

10.06.06-COMMERCE MOVES STREAK TO 4 GAMES
Commerce moved to 3-0 in district A-8 play and won their 4th straight game since returning to Class A opponents. They beat a strong Fairland Owl team 41-6.

09.29.06-COMMERCE MAKES IT THREE IN A ROW VS AFTON
Commerce moved to 2-0 in district and won their 3rd straight game since returning to Class A opponents. They won a hard fought game against Afton 21-18.

09.22.06-COMMERCE CONTINUES WINNING WAYS AGAINST QUAPAW
Commerce disposed of a young but talented Quapaw team Friday night. The offense really hit their stride and CHS is posed to make another strong season run.

09.15.06-COMMERCE MOVES INTO DISTRICTS ON WINNING NOTE
Homecoming festivities were not pleasant for the hometown Comets Friday, as Kansas (1-2 ), fell to the Commerce Tigers (1-2 ), 21-3. The Tigers used a variety of offensive schemes, but it was a brutal ground game that did the trick. Commerce scored on its first series and never looked back, while the Comets shortened the game by working the play clock.

09.08.06-COMMERCE FALLS IN WEEK 2
Commerce suffered their second straight hard fought loss at the hands of the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs Friday night. Lincoln pulled off the 28-20 win and advanced to 2-0. Commerce falls to 0-2 on the season and looks to get off on the winning foot in week 3.

09.01.06-COLCORD HANDS TIGERS' OPENING WEEK LOSS
Commerce started the season off with a loss to the Class 2A ranked #10 Colcord Hornets. Colcord broke out to an 18-0 lead, only to fall behind 19-18 before winning the game 30-27.
